This
committee shall promote the development of professional,
paraprofessional, and volunteer standards for home-based
family workers. The committee will also develop and
promote certification, recognition and awards for home-based
family service providers and programs.
This committee shall plan, promote and implement,
training for workers and encourage other groups or agencies
to implement local or regional training events related
to home-based amily services throughout the year. The
committee shall also promote networking and the exchange
of information and ideas among home-based family services
programs.
This committee shall promote efforts to establish
a scholarship for education of home-based family workers.
- Develop and submit to the Board of Directors
an annual Income/Expense budget, to be approved the first
board meeting of the year, based on identified or anticipated
expenditures.
- In the case of new projects, develop
and submit a budget based on the desired or desirable
activities.
- Develop short and long range goals and
objectives and annually review the committee’s
roles and functions.
